Local 429 Holds First June Meeting/Cookout

Congratulations and thank you to the dozens of members from Carpenters Local 429 who attended the Local’s inaugural June meeting/cookout, which will now occur every year. Council Representatives and the Local’s leadership coordinated the event, which included a catered dinner of hamburgers, grilled chicken, and hot dogs. After an education session that addressed Local, Regional Council and International Union matters, a raffle was held, and 16 Visa gift cards totaling $1,450 were awarded to some pretty happy members!
