UBC 42nd General Convention

Delegates of the Central South Carpenters Regional Council became a part of UBC history by attending the first-ever virtual general convention on August 22, 2020. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the UBC 42nd General Convention took place in a virtual format.

It was a challenge, but incredible teamwork, leadership from EST Engels and his staff, and planning to the smallest detail enabled the Central South delegates to attend a memorable event. The highlight: helping to vote in the Doug McCarron team for five more years of leading the brotherhood. Part of that team that we are very proud to congratulate on his election victory is our own UBC Southern District Vice President, Dennis Donahou.

Here's a pictorial view of CSCRC's convention headquarters in New Orleans. Special thanks to Council Representative Jacob Coburn from Austin Local 1266 for providing the photography and videography services for the CSCRC delegation.
