Job Corps Students Complete a 9-hole Mini-Golf Course in Ozark, AR .
Students from the Cass Center in Ozark fulfill the mayor's request to build a mini-golf course inside the community center.
Job Corps students from the Cass Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Ozark, AR recently completed a mini-golf course. About 15 students have been working on the project since last year.
JOB CORPS OFFERS A BASIC CARPENTRY PROGRAM AND A CARPENTRY, PRE-APPRENTICE PROGRAM THROUGH UNITED BROTHERHOOD OF CARPENTERS AND JOINERS OF AMERICA (UBCJA). ALL TRAINING PROGRAMS ARE HANDS-ON AND ARE SIMILAR IN CURRICULUM AND REQUIREMENTS.
Students in the Carpentry program are trained in the following subject areas:
Students of the program are 16-25 year olds who live on-site. These students are also able to obtain their high school diploma or GED and drivers license. There are several centers located throughout our council.
