Fer-Tory Bryant

3rd Year Apprentice, Level 6

Fer-Tory is a 3rd year apprentice at Carpenters Local Union 429 in Arlington, TX. He is installing the bases that will support the machinery used to manufacture semiconductors at the Texas Instruments fab in Richardson, TX. He started the job as a first year apprentice and was able to become a leadman in a year and a half. Just this week, Tory was promoted to foreman. He attributes his success to the apprenticeship because of the learning environment of the union. He worked several other jobs prior to joining the union. This work is so specialized, that classes and working onsite helped him understand so much more. 

Back in December, Fer-Tory was named the Clark McDonald Apprentice of the Year for his dedication and leadership.
